Twilight, the movie that’s inciting Beatles-level hysteria in teens around the country, opens on Friday. Based on the beloved series of books by the same name, the movie stars Brit heartthrob Robert Pattinson as head garlic-hater Edward Cullen, a vampire who falls for mortal teen Kristen Stewart. But Pattinson’s perfectly tossled hair, cerulean eyes and pointy teeth are just the latest in a lengthy tradition of hot vampires.
