Mindy McCready Tells All About Relationship With Roger Clemens

Two weeks after serving a jail sentence for violating probation, Mindy McCready has given an interview with Inside Edition about her years-long affair with married baseball legend Roger Clemens, a relationship first revealed by the New York Daily News last April. Clemens has yet to confess to any sexual activity with the country singer, who was engaged to Dean Cain for a period of their alleged relationship.

While McCready admits to meeting Clemens at fifteen, she continues to claim that the relationship did not turn sexual until she was of legal age. “Roger Clemens is one of the most wonderful men I’ve ever known. I loved him very much…still love him to this day,” said McCready. “He treated me like a princess.”

According to McCready, the couple went on romantic vacations for almost a decade (”We went to Palm Springs. We went to Las Vegas, New York City.”) before she realized that he was never going to leave his wife. “I wanted him to, after all that time, do the right thing by me. And, Roger is loyal and dedicated to his family…and so I ended it.” McCready has since told the NY Daily News that she did not mean to imply she wanted to marry Clemens. “I never wanted to marry Roger Clemens. I wanted him to do right by his family.”

In the interview, she also apologized to Clemens’ wife of over 20 years, Debra. “I have nothing but remorse and nothing but sympathy for what she’s had to go through with this situation.” The singer is now working on a comeback album.

Holly Tells Kendra: ‘I Better Be A Bridesmaid’

Kendra Wilkinson recently got engaged to Philadelphia Eagles hottie Hank Baskett, but her co-ex-girlfriend of Hugh Hefner, Holly Madison, is already busy making wedding plans. “I told her I better be a bridesmaid,” Holly said. The ceremony between the former Girls Next Door star and the wide receiver will take place at the Playboy Mansion in June and Hef will walk Kendra down the aisle. Meet Hank Baskett: The Dude Who Stole Kendra From Hef

Kendra Wilkinson has barely moved out of the Playboy mansion - where she’s lived with boyfriend Hugh Hefner and fellow girlfriends Bridget and Holly for four years - and already she’s engaged to another man. The mysterious love machine who yanked Kendra away from her 82-year-old dreamboat is Hank Baskett, a wide receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles. Let’s get to know the future Mr. Kendra Wilkinson, shall we?

  • Full name: Henry Randall Baskett III
  • Age: 26 years old (Kendra is just 23)
  • Life Story: Hank grew up in New Mexico where he excelled at academics, track, basketball and of course, football. He was the leading receiver at the University of New Mexico for two years, where he perfected his football skills.
  • Football Deets: Baskett ended up on the Eagles in 2007, after being drafted by the Minnesota Vikings. He was named a special MVP for the season last year as a rookie.
  • How He Landed Kendra: The couple allegedly has been together (Kendra listed him as her hero on her MySpace page) for a little while, and engagement rumors first popped up in late September. He proposed atop the Space Needle in Seattle, with both their families apparently present. Sources say Kendra was totally shocked and surprised, but said yes, obviously.

Pats Cheerleader: I Didn’t Draw Penises On My Friend!

Our new favorite cheerleader, Caitlin Davis (seen above in skimpier gear), has come forward to claim that she was not responsible for drawing penises, swastikas, and offensive words on a friend. Pictures of Davis posing with the kid in question leaked onto the internet this week and secured her termination from the Patriots cheerleading squad. Her excuse is reminiscent of something we told our parents back in the day: “The kid in the picture was a ‘drunk guy who passed out and was written on,’ as his costume for the night.”

Ah, the old ‘blame the other guy’ trick! She then describes what went down that night in a Boston College dorm:

“Me and my girls left the dorm and went to another house and came back to the kid passed out on the futon we were suppose to sleep on. The guys ended up drawing more on him due to the fact that he was the first one to pass out on Halloween night … At the time I had jumped in the picture with the kid, I didn’t realize what had been drawn on him, which I take responsibility for not being alert. Me and my girlfirends [sic] took pictures with him because we found it humorous how badly he was drawn on.”

It seems like a pretty convenient excuse to us and we doubt the Patriots are buying it, but maybe a reality show casting director will. Caitlin seems perfect for the tiny, trashy screen, doesn’t she?  For more pics of Caitlin and her former squad, click below.  [Photo: BustedCoverage]

Patriots Cheerleader Fired For Facebook Pics

How many times do we have to tell you kids: incriminating pics posted on Facebook will surely come back to haunt you! Just ask Caitlin Davis, the pint-sized Patriots cheerleader who was booted from the squad this week after photos of her and a pal drawing penises and swastikas all over a friend’s face leaked onto the web. “She is no longer with the squad,” the team’s spokesperson revealed yesterday.

Caitlin is a college student at Johnson & Wales University who grew up in Foxboro, the same town in which the Pats play. The blond babe was the youngest woman ever to land a spot cheering on the field, and she told a local paper she admired the team for their commitment to community service. “That’s what I did growing up with my church youth group,” she told a local newspaper.

Caitlin revealed a randier side on her Patriots profile, listing her favorite song as “Wasted” by Carrie Underwood. Looks like she was more about getting sloppy than serving others, which is sadly nothing to cheer about.  [Deadspin, Boston Herald]

Madonna And Jerry Seinfeld Are BFF

What’s the deal with celebrities these days? It’s like the moon is a wee bit off, and therefore everything is just a little crazy; or perhaps someone went back in time and stepped on a mosquito, subsequently altering the life as we know it. These are the only logical reasons we can come up with as to why Madonna and Jerry Seinfeld are suddenly best friends. Apparently they’ve been pals for years, growing close as neighbors on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. A couple of weeks ago Madonna and her special slugger Alex Rodriguez hopped into separate helicopters and jetted out to the Hamptons to dine with Jerry and his wife Jessica. Ashley Van Dyke, Race Car Driver/TV Host, Arrested For DUI

As a host for SPEED TV and as a race car driver, Ashley Van Dyke has tried to make a name for herself as the meeting place of fashion and racing. Now she’s achieved her greatest fame yet—as a DUI arrest.

According to TMZ, Van Dyke failed a sobriety test after bugging out on a traffic cop, announcing “but I’m a race car driver!” While this arrest probably won’t do much for her racing career, the notoriety might actually improve her name recognition and help her nab more TV work—not to mention some photo spreads. Isiah Thomas Overdoses

WCBSTV in New York is reporting that Isiah Thomas, the former head coach and president of the New York Knicks, was rushed from his home to a White Plains hospital after overdosing on sleeping pills. As a point guard from 1981 until 1994, Thomas led the Detroit Pistons to two NBA championships. He’s considered to be one of the best NBA players ever.

But his athletic ability didn’t translate into a successful career as an NBA coach and executive. During his two-year tenure coaching the Knicks, the team had an abysmal record of 56-108. Thomas was also embroiled in a sexual harassment lawsuit brought by Anucha Browne Sanders, a former Knicks executive.

Justin Timberlake Gets His Very Own PGA Open

Singer. Actor. Dancer. Golfer. The annual Las Vegas PGA Tour event has been re-named the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals For Children Open, in honor of its host, Justin Timberlake. Timberlake, who has been golfing for less than a decade, impressed many this summer by hitting a 98 at Torrey—83 in practice rounds—after Tiger Woods said a low-handicapper couldn’t crack 100 on the course.

The Open’s celebrity tournament is being held today, with Timberlake playing alongside John O’Hurley, Josh Kelly, Amanda Beard, George Lopez, Josh Duhamel and fellow N’Syncerator Chris Fitzpatrick. Ellen DeGeneres didn’t compete, but took some practice swings while clowning for the cameras.
