Although Brody Jenner and 2008 Playmate of the Year Jayde Nicole were spotted getting hot and heavy at the 2008 MTV VMA’s, the Hills star insists, “She’s a great girl both inside and out, but she’s not my girlfriend-at the moment.” Brody says he and Jayde have been good friends since her pre-Playmate days. Although Brody, who stars in the new MTV reality show Bromance, maintains they are merely “really good friends,” he doesn’t rule out the possibility of moving further with the curvaceous bunny and claims that having a girlfriend who bares all would not be a problem. “I would have no problem with knowing people can see her nude pics,” he said, “because anybody can look, but to actually be with that person is what counts.” [Source: E! This weekend, Scandalist exclusively reported that Holly Madison, Hugh Hefner’s main squeeze, is breaking up with him and moving out of the Playboy Mansion because she apparently fell under the spell of magician Criss Angel. Hugh, our inside source said, is looking to replace all three Playmates on The Girls Next Door immediately. We’re taking Kendra Wilkinson’s new hairdo as confirmation that our source is correct.
Why else would she have showed up at a pre-VMA party for Tag Records wearing a mousy brown wig? Isn’t that like Judas betraying Jesus with a kiss on the cheek? PINK CELEBRATES HER BIRTHDAY, VMA-STYLE
(Monday, 1:15am)
Pink, who celebrates her 29th birthday today, had a mini-birthday celebration after the VMAs last night at The Chateau Marmont.
Pink showed up around 12:30am in a black sweat suit, and sat at a corner table with friends. Pink smiled when a cupcake was sent over with a candle in it. At first Pink had trouble making a wish, saying, "I wish for a longer candle!"
Then the VMA performer decided on a wish, blew the candle out, and the whole room, including Demi Moore and Michael Phelps, cheered and clapped.
DEMI MOORE AND MICHAEL PHELPS PARTY TOGETHER
(Monday, 12:30am)
VMA presenter Demi Moore unwound after the awards show by drinking beer out of a bottle and hanging with Michael Phelps at the Chateau Marmont. During the show, Phelps chilled out in the audience with Ciara and before the show he chilled out with a bevy of Playboy playmates. It's good to be Michael Phelps.
INSIDE THE InTOUCH VMA AFTER PARTY
Kim Kardashian's mom Kris Jenner showed up with her son Rob's girlfriend, Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon. Kris, dressed in a sexy animal print dress and boots told Scandalist, "She dragged me out!"
Kid Rock, who showed up with a leggy blonde, sat with Travis Barker on the top of a couch laughing and talking.
The crowd, who also included Leonardo DiCaprio's girlfriend Bar Rafaeli and Katy Perry, took in a live performance by Leona Lewis. Although most guests danced to the music, Michelle Rodriguez said, "That voice puts you to sleep!"
RUSSELL BRAND DENIED FROM AFTER PARTY
(Sunday, midnight)
Aparently Russell Brand ruffled a few feathers at his first VMA hosting gig. After his hard work throwing out one-liners and trashing the Republican party, Russell hoped to let loose at the InTouch after party at Bar Marmont, located next to the famous Chateau Marmont in Hollywood.
But the host of the night couldn't get in! The Forgetting Sarah Marshall star got denied at the door. Luckily, he wasn't far from home. Russell went home to the house he is renting in the hills behind the Chateau.
BEEF ALERT! BRETT RATNER VS. JEREMY PIVEN
(Sunday, 11:00pm)
Scandalist caught up with Rush Hour 3 director Brett Ratner, who brought a leggy brunette model as his date. Brett, who worked with Entourage's Jeremy Piven on 2001's Family Man, told Scandalist, "I don't speak to him anymore."
HILLS STARS HANG BACKSTAGE AT VMAs

Hills stars Lauren Conrad and Audrina Patridge, who brought on-again and off-again boyfriend Justin Bobby as her VMA date, laughed backstage at the B Tank while cheering on Britney Spears VMA sweep.
Stephanie Pratt hung with a new man, rubbing his leg and whispering in his ear during the ceremony. When her new guy got up to use the men's room, Stephanie confirmed they are indeed an item, telling another partygoer who tried to take his seat, "No, my boyfriend is sitting there!"
KATY PERRY'S FIRST KISS
(Saturday, 11pm)
We spoke to "I Kissed A Girl" singer Katy Perry at a Blender party on Saturday night before the VMAs. In addition to explaining that she preps for performances with 15 minutes of silence before she goes on stage, Katy revealed details about her very first kiss.
The occasion was a game of spin the bottle when she was 13 years old. When presented with a dare to lock lips with a boy, she recalled saying at the time: "Ew, I don't want to kiss a boy." But she played along with the rules. "What was it like?" we asked. "Slimy," she said.
JESSICA ALBA LIKES COUS COUS

Surreal Life star Marcus Schenkenberg has getting a girl's number down to closing in under 30 seconds. Watch and learn from cassanova Marcus, who has been linked with a slew of hot ladies from Mariah Carey to Nicky Hilton. His smooth moves guarantee hooking up the digits in record time. In these photos, Marcus macks on a girl at the pool of the Roosevelt in Hollywood, a hotel where more than a few celebs are idling away time until MTV’s VMAs.

Amid rumors that Hugh Hefner's main squeeze Holly Madison has been hooking up with another major
playboy (magician Criss Angel), a Playboy Mansion insider not only confirms that the rumors are indeed true but
also tells Scandalist that Holly is leaving him. "[Holly] told Hef that she is moving out of the mansion and breaking off their
relationship," said the source.
Because Bridget and Kendra are intending to leave and pursue careers of their own, Hef would stand to lose all three bombshells from Girls Next Door. But he doesn't plan on being alone. Our source reveals that "Hef is actively seeking three new girls to replace them immediately."

profusely after performing two of his new songs, sported a vintage shirt with the word "Baller" scrolled across his chest. "I'm
gonna rip this off!" Ruben laughed, after Scandalist inquired what the Baller emblem was all about. Ruben is embarking on a music
career of his own. In addition to brother Nick, Ruben counts Michael Jackson, Ginuwine and Justin Timberlake as his inspirations. Despite her diva reputation, Ruben tells Scandalist his new sister-in-law

It's Michael Phelps' world! What did the eight-time Gold medal-winning Olympian do to continue to celebrate his wave of success in Beijing? Michael headed out to the Playboy Club at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas on Thursday night. A source exclusively told Scandalist, "Michael was having a great time, enjoying all the attention from the bunnies." Another source added, "He is staying in the Hardwood suite, which has it's own indoor regulation half-basketball court. He is also staying in a sky villa which features an outdoor terrace with a cantilevered Jacuzzi tub with a glass end wall." Plenty of room for all his hot new Playboy bunny friends!
PARIS IS PRETTY IN GRAY

The newly renovated Mondrian hotel in Hollywood, CA was packed with celebrities who came out to check out the revamped chic hotel and support "charity: water," an organization which provides clean water to underprivileged countries all over the world. Paris Hilton, wearing a sleek gray dress (see above), primped in the ladies room, making sure her lipstick was picture perfect, before walking out to the lobby to pose for the cameras in front of the newly renovated, exclusive lounge area of the hotel. Paris was accompanied by four friends but there was no sign of boyfriend Benji Madden. But Benji's absence didn't seem to bother Miss Hilton, who texted on her cell phone and laughed with her pals in between posing for photos. Guests sipped on bottled water from charity: water. "They got all the equipment and books." The Def Jam star and "Milkshake" singer, who was detained last year in Miami for rushing at police officers and allegedly screaming profanities, recently took a trip to Sarah Palin’s home state of Alaska to practice their new hobby. You expect a good deal of crotch grabbing, booty bouncing, and cleavage presentation at the VMAs. But tonight’s show messed with the stereotypes; those usually responsible for such actions weren’t the ones doing ‘em this year. Here are three memorable moments that involve underwear, no underwear, and strumming oneself.
Pink’s Nipple Slip
She looked great, and sounded strong. And as Pink’s performance of “So What” made its way through the fake streets of the Paramount back lot, more and more clothes came off. By the time she jumped on stage to conclude the thing, her top was open enough to display the wealth of those lady lumps.

Most of the stars looked downright amazing at this year’s VMAs — including Britney Spears, who swept up all the Moonmen at this year’s show but disappointed some fans by not performing her latest hit (”Gimme More”). 10. CIARA
It’s almost impossible to find fault with the statuesque Ciara, but we can’t let her mop-head wig go without comment. Was she going for a retro Tina Turner look? We want her old hair back.
9. RIHANNA
Another singer with one name who looks flawless 99 percent of the time, we tried to write off Rihanna’s Thriller-esque stage outfit as a dramatic prop. But that carpet on her ass put us over the edge.
