Jessica Simpson Is Boozing It Up
Beer ads often feature life-size cutouts of voluptuous unknown models in bikinis holding a cold one and are featured prominently in frat houses and convenience stores. So why would Jessica Simpson, who has a hit reality show, feature films, and chart-topping albums under her belt, pose for an ad for beer? Turns out the answer is not such a ditzy one after all. Jessica is getting a 15% stake in Stampede Brewing Company for being the face of their new brew Stampede Light Plus, which is touted as being packed with vitamins for a healthy lifestyle.
“As an entrepreneur, I am always looking for ways to diversify my portfolio with good ideas and good people,” Jessica told the Dallas Morning News. Jessica can now add booze to the list of other products she is pushing, such as ProActive and shoes. [Photo:Getty Images]
